Digital Innovation, the original innovator in trauma registry technology, is officially back!
The Name You Know. The Value and Service You Expect.
DI, the original innovator in trauma registry technology, is officially back! For over 35 years, DI set the standard in trauma registry software – powering the nation’s most successful trauma center, regional, and state trauma registries, while playing a pioneering role in helping the American College of Surgeons launch the TQIP® as well as helping the US Military launch its worldwide trauma registry.
Now, DI is back—as innovative as ever—bringing the next generation of secure, cloud-based, AI-powered trauma data solutions and modules to the industry.
DI retained its core technology and its elite team of trauma registry software developers who have been at the forefront of innovation for decades. Over the past 5 years, DI has innovated across its entire suite of product functionality. Our team of trauma software experts is working rapidly to build new and improved tailored trauma configurations upon our proven technology to support trauma centers and state & regional registries – with an emphasis on empowering data analysis, report writing, and Performance Improvement (PI) at every level.
DI is re-launching with three key trauma solutions designed to meet the needs of trauma centers and central sites:
The ability to report on your data with exceptional support has always set DI apart. A cutting-edge AI-powered reporting solution using DI’s unmatched vocabulary-based technology, enabling users of all skill levels to generate advanced reports and queries on both current and legacy registry data—without programming or database expertise. DI is open to developing integrations between the DI Report Writer and any data source or system of registry data.
Driving PI is what trauma registries are all about. A fully integrated performance improvement tool to help trauma centers track, analyze, and enhance patient care outcomes – identify and manage PI initiatives – with interactive dashboards and tools to drive improvement, manage loop closure, and track and trend key performance metrics and indicators. The DI PI Module is designed to work with any healthcare registry and PI process through our configurability and interoperability approach.
DI’s next-generation, secure, cloud-based platform that can support any standard or custom healthcare registry, ranging from minimal to comprehensive data sets. The baseline offering and foundation of V7 in trauma is a new core data model based on national standards such as AIS 2015, NTDS, and ITDX to support ACS TQIP® and compliance at state and regional levels. V7 is a foundation and starting point to implement custom registries, which has historically been a unique chosen focus of DI in various industries – while still providing intuitive workflows and flexible compliance reporting customized to exact clinical and data committee requirements.
DI has always differentiated itself with its ability to create custom registries to exacting clinical needs. For 2025, we have a special program to help cover costs. To support hospitals, trauma centers, regions, associations, foundations, and state agencies who may have custom requirements to experience the “DI Difference” in a timely, reliable, and affordable way, DI is offering Technology Assistance Grants to help:
Transitioning to a modern, cloud-based architecture is fast becoming a "must have" in today’s data driven world. DI’s Cloud Transition Plan can be a lifeline from a proven registry provider committed to value, service, and innovation.
